June, 2018 Sherwood, AR. Tangos Blonde Hope ("Blondie) has again been successfully bred to the all time leading barrel sire in AQHA history, Dash Ta Fame. Weatherford Equine Breeding of Weatherford, TX successfully bred and transferred the embryo from Blondie earlier this month . This is the second offspring from Blondie and Dash Ta Fame. Earlier this year Lake Hamilton Equine of Royal, Arkansas foaled a colt out of this famous pair. "We haven't made a final decision yet about this colt but it will be hard not to wait and see how he develops before we decide whether to leave him as a stallion" said Allison Martin.

June 2018, Cloverdale, Indiana - At the 2018 NPBA National Championship event in Cloverdale, Indiana, Tangos Blonde Hope, aka "Blondie", was honored by being inducted into the NPBA Hall Of Fame. "This is a once in a lifetime honor for a once in a lifetime horse, said Larry Martin, of Martin Family Farms. NPBA Hall of Fame candidates are nominated by NPBA members, usually fellow competitors. During his acceptance remarks, Martin "Gave honor to whom honor is due" by recognizing Blondie's breeders Tim and Tammie Campbell, Doug Smith, Blondie's first trainer, Randy "Sluggo" Suggs and Bradley Bohannon, who campaigned Blondie during her early career, Lane Smith, who jockeyed Blondie to multiple AQHA Congress and World Championship titles, Allison Martin, who ensured Blondie was always fit and ready to compete, and Martin's wife Renie Martin, who supported and manages multiple aspects of the couples operation. Blondie's place in the NPBA Hall of Fame puts her among some of the greatest pole bending horses in history.

Tangos Blonde Hope Retains AQHA World Champion Title in 2017

November 2017, Oklahoma City, OK – Tangos Blonde Hope, aka “Blondie”, and Lane Smith of Ward Arkansas returned to the Lucas Oil AQHA World Championship show in Oklahoma City to successfully defend their 2016 World Championship title among one of the toughest fields of pole benders ever assembled. Repeating their performance of 2016, the duo won the class with the fastest time of the entire event, clocking the only clean sub-20 second run of 19.991. The 2017 victory was the teams 4th AQHA World Champion title and 9th career championship title, all accomplished in only four years. This year’s win was especially rewarding as it marked the final performance in this event for Blondie and Lane. The pair left the arena for the final time as perhaps the most successful pole bending team in history. “To own a horse of this caliber, and have her competed so successfully, has truly been a blessing to our family and for our program” said Larry Martin of Martin Family Farms.

Mollys Angel Eyes Earns 2016 High Point in Amateur Stakes

January, 2017 Sherwood, AR. Mollys Angel Eyes and Allison Martin earned their third career High Point title in Amateur Stakes in 2016. The pair began competing as first-timers in AQHA and have had a wonderful journey together. Allison set a goal in 2016 to earn one more High Point title before retiring "Molly" after many years of competing together. "I'll never have another horse like Molly. She taught me many lessons and we've had a great run together." said Allison Martin. Molly will be bred in 2018.

"Blondie", jockeyed by Lane Smith of Ward Arkansas, secured the 2016 AQHA Sr. Poles World Championship with an impressive 19.7 second run, the fastest pole time of the entire show. The win earned Blondie her 6th champion trophy making her one of the most decorated pole bending horses in AQHA history.

November, 2016 Oklahoma City, OK. Molly and Allison Martin had another great World show in 2016, bringing home another Top 10 finish. Molly and Allison have consistently made the World show finals in the last several years and are always tough competitors. The pair are chasing the 2016 Amateur Stakes High Point championship and hope to add it to their previous two High Point awards.

October, 2016 Columbus OH. Blondie and Lane Smith of Ward Arkansas had set the bar pretty high in 2015 after winning both the Sr. Poles and Pole Sweepstakes championships. The competition in 2016 was tough as always but the famous duo pulled out another impressive win by securing the 2016 Poles Bending Sweepstakes. Blondie and Lane thrilled the crowds with 19.4 and 19.3 second performances and left no doubt that they are the best pole benders in the world!
